The Smart Energy Council (SEC) will lead a delegation consisting of approximately 20 smart energy enterprises to China from 10–16 June 2024. This initiative will deliver a wide array of firsthand opportunities within the renewable energy, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors.

During this guided trip, the delegation will participate in substantive discussions with distinguished Chinese enterprises focusing on:

• Selling solar modules and other components originating from China

• Undertaking major projects within Australia

• Exploring investment opportunities in Australian projects

• Licensing Australian smart energy innovations, including in hydrogen production and electric vehicles

• Investing in critical minerals, battery manufacturing, as well as solar module, electrolyser, and other manufacturing ventures in Australia
