Solar Power Direct is a South Australian, family owned and operated company established in 2011 by Managing Director Paul Maiolo.

Paul Maiolo is a Qualified Electrician who holds over 18 years’ experience working in the Electrical industry. Paul is also an accredited Master Electrician and holds a number of other Trade Licences in Australia.

Solar Power Direct is the renewable arm of P-MEC Electrical, a well-established South Australian electrical business that has been servicing homes and businesses for the past 18 years.

Paul first became accredited by the Clean Energy Council back in 2009 where he developed a keen interest in the renewable sector of the electrical industry. It was a conversation at the dinner table with family about the rising energy costs, and the idea of never having to pay for electricity that became the fuel to begin his next business venture thus Solar Power Direct was formed.
