Smart Energy South Australia

Powering Australia’s large-scale renewable transformation

We champion utility-scale solar, wind and long-duration storage by bringing industry, government and research together. Join us as we shape policy, share best practice and accelerate our transition to 100% renewable energy.

Large scale renewables

Working for our members and the industry

The Smart Energy Council is driving the large scale renewable energy generation and storage sector by advocating for and informing the direction of policy. for large scale generation and storage across key government agencies and departments. Through the large scale working group we have achieved significant outcomes for this sector of the industry. The Smart Energy Council members are involved in utility solar, onshore and offshore wind, battery storage and long duration energy storage, and transmission networks.
