Together, We Power Australia’s Smart Energy Future

Join the Smart Energy Council – the independent voice of Australia’s renewable energy industry. We stand with our members through every challenge, driving policy, progress, and opportunity.

We Couldn’t Do it Without You

To all our members – big or small – Thank You.

Everything we do, every fight we take on, every win for the renewable sector happens because you back us. Your support keeps the Smart Energy Council strong and independent – able to act fast, speak up, and get real outcomes for the smart energy industry.

Nigel Morris – One of the Industry’s Own, Now Fighting for It.

Before joining the Smart Energy Council, Nigel spent years designing, selling and installing solar and storage systems – just like many of you, our members. He knows what it’s like to run a solar business, face tough market conditions, and wonder if anyone’s got your back.

Now, as our Chief Strategy Officer, he’s seen firsthand how hard our team fights for the industry, often behind the scenes, tackling the messy stuff, pushing for fair rules, and keeping our members informed and supported every step of the way.

“The thing that surprised me most,” Nigel says, “is how much the team listens. Every project, every campaign, every change we push for starts with members telling us what they need. That’s the real magic of the Smart Energy Council.”

Having lived both sides of the story, Nigel brings a member’s perspective to everything we do. Nigel shares what it means to have someone in your corner when things get tough.

Why Join the Smart Energy Council?

Because progress needs a strong, united voice.

We’re here to make sure your voice is heard, your business is supported, and your work in renewables gets the respect it deserves. When the rules change, we’re already on the phone. When opportunities appear, you’re the first to know. Your membership helps us fight the good fights and keeps you connected to everything that matters in smart energy.
