The Smart Energy Council is pleased to welcome Lisa Marsh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of eLumina Global, as its newest Board member.
Lisa brings more than 20 years of commercial and leadership experience across finance, funding, leasing, asset management and business development, alongside her experience in Australian battery-integrated electric vehicle charging and energy storage technology.
Lisa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of eLumina Global, an Australian company developing and manufacturing battery-integrated EV charging and energy storage technology.
Since founding eLumina Global in 2023, Lisa has overseen the company’s growth and the rollout of charging infrastructure designed to address limited grid capacity, particularly across regional and remote Australia.
Under her leadership, eLumina delivered the Great Northern Highway EV charging network in Western Australia. Spanning approximately 2,400 kilometres, it is recognised as the world’s longest off-grid electric highway.
The network has brought fast-charging infrastructure to remote communities and demonstrated how battery-integrated charging can support electrification in locations where conventional grid-connected infrastructure may be difficult or uneconomic to deploy.
Before establishing eLumina, Lisa held senior leadership roles with ASX-listed Eclipx Group and McMillan Shakespeare and founded the Gerraty White Group.
Lisa is an advocate for Australian-made smart energy technology and believes the move towards net zero presents an opportunity to strengthen local manufacturing, create skilled jobs and ensure regional and remote communities share in the benefits of Australia’s changing energy system.
Smart Energy Council Chief Executive Officer David McElrea welcomed Lisa’s appointment.
“Lisa brings valuable commercial experience, a strong understanding of emerging energy technologies and a clear commitment to Australian manufacturing and regional communities,” Mr McElrea said.
“Her experience in battery-integrated EV charging and energy storage will strengthen the Board’s expertise as the Smart Energy Council continues to represent and advocate for Australia’s growing smart energy industry.
“We are delighted to welcome Lisa to the Board and look forward to her contribution.”
Lisa said she looked forward to supporting the Smart Energy Council and its members.
“I am pleased to join the Smart Energy Council Board at an important time for Australia’s energy and transport sectors,” Ms Marsh said.
“I look forward to working with the Board, the Council’s members and the broader industry to support Australian innovation, expand access to smart energy technology and ensure regional and remote communities are included in Australia’s smart energy future.”
Lisa was named among The Australian’s Top 100 Innovators in 2024 and 2025. She was also a finalist in the 2025 Women Leading Tech Awards and received a Merit Award at the Gold Coast Women in Business Awards Australia. She also serves as Deputy Chair of Latitude: Directions for Young People.
The Smart Energy Council welcomes Lisa to the Board and looks forward to working with her to support the continued growth of Australia’s smart energy industry.
