The Smart Energy Council is delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Morris to the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
With over three decades in the industry, Chief Executive John Grimes says, Nigel has been at the forefront of development in Australian renewables and is a true standard-bearer for smart energy.

Mr Morris says Australia is already a renowned smart energy leader, yet more ambition is needed to continue innovating and installing solar at ever increasing rates.
“It requires a huge effort to ensure that the environment we operate in is fit for purpose, and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to help shape the Smart Energy Council’s services for the next generation of solar installers and owners.”

Nigel Morris will commence as Chief Strategy Officer with the Smart Energy Council on 1 September, 2025.
