- Dual-Glass Construction – A 2.0 mm front glass paired with 1.6 mm rear glass creates a rigid, moisture-resistant laminate that reduces micro-cracking and degradation compared to conventional plastic backsheets.
- Bifacial Gain – The bifacial cell design allows rear-side light harvesting, providing additional yield in reflective environments such as metal roofs and light-coloured ground surfaces.
- Temperature Performance – With a Pmax coefficient of −0.26%/°C, the module maintains strong output under Australia’s high ambient temperatures.
- Partial Shading Resilience – Optimised interconnection and cell layout improve shade tolerance and salt-mist resistance, for consistent generation across varied site conditions including coastal installations.

The Quasar 475W has undergone enhanced hail-impact and cyclone testing with static load ratings of 5,400 Pa (front) and 2,400 Pa (rear) underscoring its durability. It carries a high salt-mist corrosion rating, making it ideally suited for coastal and regional installations.
