Swatten Wraps Up 6-City Australia Roadshow, Delivering Professional-Grade Storage Ahead of Battery Rebate Era

Over the past 30 days, Swatten completed a high-impact roadshow across six major cities in Australia, partnering with the Smart Energy Council to connect with clean energy professionals, distributors, and installers in Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Darwin, Melbourne, and Perth.

At every stop, Swatten showcased its From Grid to Home energy storage philosophy — a system-wide approach built on 32 years of power system engineering expertise. Through hands-on demonstrations and in-depth technical exchanges, Swatten reaffirmed its commitment to bringing utility-grade reliability and long-term value into homes and businesses across the country.

Powered by 6.6GW of Grid Legacy in Australia

Swatten is a brand incubated by Sieyuan Electric (Stock Code: 002028.SZ), which has delivered over 6.6GW of large-scale energy infrastructure across Australia in the past 15 years, including more than 50 MW-level grid projects. Clients include Acciona Energy, AusNet, CitiPower & Powercor, Elecnor, Jemena, and Western Power.

This depth of experience positions Swatten not merely as a product supplier but as a power systems specialist—translating proven grid-scale reliability into practical solutions for residential and C&I customers.

Designed for Installers, Ready for Australia’s Clean Energy Future

Swatten’s product design is guided by seven core engineering principles, each centered on two key outcomes: simplifying the installer experience and maximizing real-world performance for users. These reflect swatten’s engineering discipline and attention to long-term performance and user experience.

  • Make it universal: The high integrated energy storage system supports both DC-coupled and AC-coupled configurations, offering flexible compatibility with a wide range of residential and commercial applications.
  • Build-in On/Off-Grid: Ensures uninterrupted power supply during grid instability or outages.
  • Real Battery-Ready: Enables users to add battery capacity anytime—whether for self-consumption or backup—without rewiring, component swaps, or extra connection boxes.
  • Fanless Silent operation: Reduces noise and dust, ideal for homes and indoor installations.
  • Maximized DC Input & Output Efficiency: Supports PV oversizing and strong off-grid output, maximizing solar utilization.
  • Easy Installation & Low Maintenance: Modular design, standardized interfaces, and remote troubleshooting to reduce installation time and complexity.
  • Installer-Centric Thinking: Lightweight builds (e.g., 20kg for 6kW inverter) enable one-person installation, minimizing labor strain.

Swatten’s systems are also VPP-ready, with built-in support for Modbus protocol, allowing seamless integration with virtual power plant (VPP) platforms. This unlocks greater grid participation and revenue opportunities for users, making the system more than just backup—it becomes part of the future grid.

With the launch of Australia’s Cheaper Home Batteries program on the horizon, Swatten is ideally positioned to support accelerated battery deployment. Its real battery-ready design and strong AC-coupled compatibility mean that homeowners can easily upgrade their existing PV systems without structural changes—no rewiring, no replacements, no added complexity. This ensures faster installations, reduced upfront costs, smoother compliance—and ultimately, broader access to clean energy for everyday Australians.

Powering What’s Next

Swatten’s six-city journey across Australia marks just the beginning. Swatten remains committed to supporting local installers, accelerating storage system integration, and delivering grid-grade reliability, installer-first design performance—from grid to home.
