Fronius introduces Reserva battery promotion as household storage demand grows

Australia’s battery storage market continues to expand as more households seek to maximise the value of their solar systems, reduce reliance on the grid and improve energy resilience.

For solar installers, growing interest in household batteries is creating opportunities to deliver integrated systems combining solar generation, storage and energy management. Battery storage is also becoming a more common consideration in residential solar proposals, supported by government incentives and changing household energy requirements.

As the market develops, installers are looking for systems that can accommodate a range of household requirements and adapt as energy use changes over time.

Against this backdrop, Smart Energy Council member Fronius Australia has introduced a limited-time promotion on its Fronius Reserva storage solution.

Available through Fronius distribution partners, the promotion provides savings on Reserva battery components. Fronius says savings of up to $7,000 are available on three-phase system configurations and up to $5,000 on single-phase configurations.

An integrated and modular system

The Fronius Reserva is designed to operate with compatible Fronius hybrid inverter technology like the GEN24 Plus and Verto Plus as part of an integrated system incorporating solar generation, battery storage, energy monitoring and electric vehicle charging.

Its DC-coupled configuration enables energy to move between the solar system, inverter and battery. The modular design also allows systems to be configured according to household requirements and expanded where compatible and appropriate.

Through Fronius Solar.web, homeowners can view solar production, battery performance and household energy consumption through a single monitoring platform.

Roland Resch, Managing Director of Fronius Australia, said the promotion recognised the role installers are playing in Australia’s growing residential battery market.

“Battery storage is becoming an increasingly important part of residential energy systems, and installers are at the centre of that transition,” Mr Resch said.

“The promotion is intended to support installers responding to growing consumer demand for integrated solar and storage solutions.”

Promotion details

Fronius advises that maximum savings of up to $7,000 are available on 63 kWh three-phase systems, while savings of up to $5,000 are available on 38 kWh single-phase systems.

Actual savings will depend on the system configuration, installation requirements and installer pricing. The offer is valid until 31 March 2027 or while stocks last. Fronius reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion at any time.

Fronius does not sell directly to homeowners. Final pricing and product availability are determined by individual installers.

Further information about the promotion and details of your nearest Fronius Authorised Sales Partner can be found on the Fronius Australia website.
