SigenStack: Scalable Energy Storage for Commercial, Industrial, and Utility Applications

Sigenergy’s SigenStack is a top-tier energy storage system designed for large-scale C&I and utility projects. Featuring a modular architecture, the system integrates a hybrid inverter capable of delivering 50 kW to 125 kW of power, with a scalable battery design that provides customizable energy storage capacity.

Key Benefits of SigenStack:

  • Smallest and Lightest C&I Inverter
SigenStack’s 110 kW hybrid inverter is 19% lighter and 36% smaller than competitors, fitting up to 165 inverters in a 40ft container. This reduces installation complexity and construction costs, making them more feasible and cost-effective.
  • Pack-Level Safety Protection
SigenStack sets a new industry benchmark for battery safety with a dedicated fire suppression system for every 12 kWh. It detects thermal runaway 60 seconds faster and is 160 times more precise than container-based systems. The six layers of protection—temperature sensors, internal fire extinguishers, aerogel insulation, decompression valves, high-temperature-resistant pads, and smoke sensors—ensure comprehensive safety at every level.

  • Efficient DC-Coupled System
SigenStack’s DC-coupled design eliminates the need for PV inverters, data loggers, and AC combiners, reducing both initial equipment costs and ongoing maintenance. Compared to AC-coupled systems, DC-coupling minimizes energy conversion losses, resulting in higher energy output and improved returns on investment. This design also boosts round-trip efficiency by 2%.
  • Fast Installation and Commissioning
Thanks to modular design, SigenStack can quickly connect. One system can be installed in one hour, with commissioning in just 15 minutes. Its stackable, lightweight units speed up deployment and avoid the need for heavy lifting equipment and complex wiring often associated with larger systems.

  • Minimal Maintenance

With an IP66 rating and 24/7 cloud-based monitoring, SigenStack minimizes maintenance needs and costs, outperforming traditional systems that require regular, complex upkeep.

SigenStor: Flexible Energy Storage for Homes and Small Businesses
For residential and small business applications, SigenStor offers a 5-in-1 solution that integrates solar power, energy storage, and EV charging. Available in battery sizes of 5 kWh or 8 kWh, SigenStor is scalable up to 48 kWh. With up to 20 SigenStor units connected in parallel, the system can provide up to 960 kWh of energy storage capacity, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of energy needs. SigenStor also supports advanced features like dynamic electricity tariffs and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) integration, enabling users to optimize energy use and maximize savings.

In New South Wales (NSW), SigenStor has recently been approved for a government rebate, making it the perfect time for residents to enhance their rooftop solar installations with Sigenergy’s innovative energy storage technology. By taking advantage of potential savings on upfront installation costs and participating in VPP programs, NSW homeowners can reduce their energy bills and increase their energy independence.
