Sigenergy Leads Australian Battery Market with New Product Launches

Sigenergy, a leading energy innovator, has been ranked the No.1 battery brand in Australia by market share for March 2025, according to the latest report from SunWiz, the country’s leading independent solar market consultancy.

The report, based on blended battery capacity[1] across the market, shows Sigenergy commanding a 17.4% market share, outperforming all other brands. This places Sigenergy ahead of Sungrow (17.1%), Alpha ESS (15.2%), and Tesla, which ranked fourth. This milestone underscores Sigenergy’s rapid growth and increasing customer trust in both residential and commercial sectors across Australia.

New Sigen Energy Gateways Available in May

To meet growing demand, Sigenergy launched its new Sigen Gateway series for Australia and New Zealand, offering advanced energy management and seamless 0-millisecond switching between on- and off-grid modes.

The Home Series includes the Sigen Gateway Home SP AU (12 kW) and Home TP AU (30 kW), both supporting dual-phase input, rear wiring, and built-in SPD (Surge Protection Device). For commercial and industrial applications, the Sigen Gateway C60 AU (60 kW) provides high-capacity energy management with dual-phase support, meeting the rigorous demands of larger systems. All models come with a five-year standard warranty, with an optional additional five-year extension.

Sigenergy Unveils Smart Home Solution

Sigenergy has unveiled its Smart Home Solution, representing a significant leap forward in intelligent residential energy systems. This solution offers homeowners enhanced control, flexibility, and a smarter energy experience in managing their energy consumption.

A key feature of the update is Shelly smart plug compatibility, enabling users to easily add and manage a wider range of devices within their homes. The solution also includes customizable device settings, intelligent energy usage patterns, and prioritization of surplus solar energy for maximum efficiency. New charging modes for SigenStor EVDC and Sigen EVAC further improve the system’s capabilities, offering a more personalized and responsive energy experience.

Homeowners can access these features by updating to the latest version of the mySigen app, along with the SigenStor software update.
