Sigenergy Expands CEC-Certified Portfolio, Strengthening Australian Market Presence

Sigenergy is pleased to announce that its SigenStor 8kW, 10kW, and 12kW Single Phase models have officially received approval from the Clean Energy Council (CEC) in Australia. This certification marks another significant milestone, further expanding Sigenergy’s available product portfolio in the Australian market.

With this latest CEC approval, Sigenergy provides Australian customers with greater flexibility to choose energy products that align with their energy consumption patterns, enhancing both energy independence and sustainability.

Accelerating Growth in Australia and Worldwide

Sigenergy is rapidly establishing itself as one of Australia’s most trusted home energy storage brands. In February, SolarQuotes — Australia’s leading PV installation advisory platform — awarded Sigenergy the Silver Award in its 2025 “Best Home Batteries in Australia” rankings, recognizing the brand among the top three home energy storage providers in the country. This achievement reflects the growing confidence of Australian professionals in Sigenergy’s cutting-edge technology and product reliability.

Sigenergy’s global momentum further strengthens its position in the Australian market. According to a recent report by Frost & Sullivan, SigenStor secured the No.1 position in the global stackable all-in-one distributed energy storage system (DESS) market, shipping 231 MWh of units between Q1 and Q3 2024 — capturing a 24.3% market share. Additionally, SigenStor ranked third in the highly competitive all-in-one DESS market with a 5.9% market share, with the top five players collectively accounting for 74.5% of total shipments. This global leadership underscores Sigenergy’s technological strength and reinforces the brand’s appeal among Australian customers.

Comprehensive Solutions for Diverse Needs

Sigenergy’s commitment to energy innovation extends across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. For the commercial and industrial (C&I) segments, the company introduced SigenStack — a modular energy storage system that integrates hybrid inverters with battery packs, offering scalability to support multi-megawatt projects.

Looking ahead, Sigenergy plans to unveil more innovative products in the coming months, further enriching its product ecosystem to meet the evolving needs of global customers. By fostering deeper partnerships and delivering tailored energy solutions, Sigenergy is driving the transition toward a more sustainable energy future in Australia and worldwide.
