GreenSketch Accelerates Growth with Platform Expansion, SEC Executive Membership and National Roadshows

GreenSketch, the world’s leading end-to-end solar and battery design platform, continues to expand its presence across Australia and overseas, supporting installers with tools to design, quote, procure and deliver projects more efficiently.

For installers, GreenSketch brings together site design, battery modelling, proposal creation, procurement and project workflows in one platform, reducing manual work, improving accuracy and helping teams move faster from lead to installation.

As adoption grows, GreenSketch is expanding its team and strengthening partnerships across the sector, including its collaboration with the Smart Energy Council (SEC) as executive members to help create long-term value for Australia’s solar industry.

“Working with the SEC is important for us because it connects platform innovation with real industry needs,” says Anson Zhang, Founder and CEO of GreenSketch. “By sharing insights, listening to installers and contributing to the broader market, we can help lift standards and business outcomes across the sector.”

The collaboration will also enable GreenSketch to contribute insights into how technology, data, and process improvement can support installers as the sector scales.

Supporting better installer workflows

Recent platform enhancements focus on practical, everyday use for sales, design and operations teams.

Installers use GreenSketch to create accurate layouts with automated roof detection, visualise systems in 3D to understand shading and obstructions, and model battery configurations with reusable templates that reduce design time. Integrated procurement tools and financial modelling help move projects from design through to installation more smoothly.

Alongside design and delivery, GreenSketch is also introducing Emily SmartQuote, an AI-powered assistant that supports early-stage homeowner engagement by helping installers qualify leads and visualise system potential before manual follow-up. This allows teams to spend more time on advice, design and project execution.

To support the full project lifecycle, GreenSketch streamlines procurement and financial modelling. Installers can generate one-click RFQs to export bills of materials, manage suppliers, and track procurement activity in a single workflow. Battery projects can also include VPP income estimates displayed directly in customer proposals, helping homeowners better understand long-term financial outcomes.

Rather than adding complexity, GreenSketch’s development focus is on simplifying workflows so businesses can scale sustainably.

National installer roadshows and official launch event in Australia

GreenSketch is preparing a series of installer roadshows across Australia, designed to provide hands-on demonstrations, practical workflow sessions and direct conversations with the GreenSketch team.

The roadshows focus on helping installers understand how digital tools can improve quoting speed, design quality and customer experience, while also giving installers the opportunity to share feedback and influence future development.

As part of its growth, GreenSketch will also host its official launch event in Sydney in late March. The event will bring together installers, partners, investors, and policymakers to discuss the role of transparency, data, and quality in the future of smart energy in Australia. It will be a space for collaboration and conversation, with further details to be shared soon.

As GreenSketch continues to expand with its partners and the wider industry, its focus remains on building tools that support installer performance, business sustainability and long-term market value.
