Fox ESS has been ranked No. 1 in InfoLink Consulting’s H1 2026 global residential energy storage system (ESS) shipment ranking, based on InfoLink’s global residential energy storage market and shipment database.
According to InfoLink, global residential ESS shipments reached 39.07 GWh in H1 2026, representing a 137.67% year-on-year increase. Competition among the industry’s leading suppliers also intensified, with Fox ESS leading the global top five for the period.
The result follows several other industry recognitions for Fox ESS. A white paper jointly released by Fox ESS and Frost & Sullivan reported that the global residential energy storage market reached 38.1 GWh in 2025, after growing at a compound annual rate of 54.6% from 2021 to 2025. It ranked Fox ESS first with a 10.5% market share. This followed a separate No. 1 ranking for 2025 residential ESS shipments from S&P Global Energy.
Looking ahead, InfoLink expects Australia’s residential ESS market to contract significantly in the second half of 2026 following a surge in installations earlier in the year. It expects the European market to continue recovering as supportive policies are progressively introduced.
Fox ESS founder and chairman Michael Zhu attended a recent Smart Energy Council event in Castle Hill marking more than 500,000 home battery installations across Australia, alongside Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen. Fox ESS reports that its residential storage installations in Australia reached 3.1 GWh between January and July 2026.
Fox ESS has also received recognition for product performance in Europe. In the 2026 Energy Storage Inspection conducted by HTW Berlin and aquu, its system featuring the PQ-H3-Ultra-10.0 inverter and EQ3300-5 battery achieved a System Performance Index of 97%. This was the highest score among the 10 kW hybrid inverter systems tested and earned an Efficiency Class A rating.
The H1 2026 ranking adds to Fox ESS’s recent results across key markets. Together, the global shipment ranking, the Australian installation figures reported by the company and the European performance result point to strong momentum in its residential storage business. Fox ESS says it remains committed to improving its products and supporting households and installers with reliable, easy-to-install energy storage systems.
