Fox ESS held a successful opening ceremony on June 1 for its Phase II factory in Wenzhou, marking a new milestone in expanding production capacity and strengthening its position in the global clean energy market.
The Phase II site spans approximately 46,000 m² and is designed to support intelligent, large-scale manufacturing, reinforcing Fox ESS’s long-term commitment to low-carbon energy solutions and international growth.
Located in Wenzhou, a port city in southeastern Zhejiang province, the plant focuses on R&D and smart manufacturing across PCBA, battery products, and key commercial and industrial energy storage offerings. Battery energy storage products are a core emphasis for Phase II, supporting Fox ESS’s global deployment strategy.
Powered by a highly automated, integrated production system, the Phase II factory enhances manufacturing efficiency at every stage. By optimising logistics and streamlining the production flow, the time from raw materials receiving to line commissioning has been reduced from 30 minutes to within 5 minutes, significantly improving throughput.
With highly automated production lines, the facility delivers an output of one battery pack every 7 seconds, with an overall automation level of over 60%. The factory also implements a comprehensive end-to-end product traceability system, enabling full visibility and control across manufacturing to help ensure consistent product quality and reliable delivery performance.
Reflecting Fox ESS’s low-carbon approach, the plant reports daily green electricity consumption of 6,000 kWh, supporting the company’s effort to build an efficient, intelligent, and environmentally responsible modern energy storage manufacturing base.
In parallel with industrial upgrading, Fox ESS has developed people-first workplace amenities, including basketball courts, indoor and outdoor fitness areas, study rooms, a yoga room, and an outdoor running track, creating a more dynamic and supportive environment for employees.

The opening ceremony was attended by global representatives from industry organisations, partners, and stakeholders, including John Grimes, Chief Executive of the Renewable Energy Council Asia Pacific, who joined in witnessing this key moment for Fox ESS.
Looking ahead, Fox ESS will continue to strengthen its technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing to help advance global carbon neutrality efforts.
