Since late 2025, Fox ESS has been supplying battery and inverter cable covers to their distribution and retail partners to support installers in meeting the AS5139 battery system installation standard. However, they are aware that some earlier systems — and even some recent installations — may not have received the correct covers.
To support homeowners and ensure all Fox ESS systems across Australia meet the required safety standard, Fox ESS has now launched an online Cable Cover Request Form. Eligible end‑users can request a free Battery Cable Cover and/or Inverter Cable Cover.
Considerations:
- Cable covers are provided free of charge to end‑users whose systems are missing them.
- Battery Cable Covers use a simple clip‑on design and can be installed easily.
- Inverter Cable Covers require installer support.
- Requests are processed fortnightly, and tracking details are sent once dispatched.
- Only one Battery Cable Cover and/or one Inverter Cable Cover will be supplied per serial number.
This initiative is part of Fox ESS’s ongoing commitment to safety, compliance, and customer support.
