JinkoSolar Unveils Tiger Neo 48-Cell Module: Revolutionizing Rooftop Solar with High-Efficiency TOPCon 3.0 Technology

JinkoSolar, the global leading PV and ESS supplier, has launched a new rooftop-optimized 48-cell module in its Tiger Neo series. Engineered with advanced TOPCon 3.0 cell technology and dual-glass construction, this 475W high-power solution redefines distributed energy systems through superior performance, reliability, and aesthetics – maximizing returns for residential and commercial users.

The new 48-cell module integrates JinkoSolar’s proprietary TOPCon 3.0 technology, achieving module efficiency exceeding 23.77%. This significantly enhances power density within constrained rooftop spaces. Its innovative 20-busbar design minimizes resistive losses through optimized current pathways while ensuring uniform stress distribution – reducing micro-crack risk by 30%. The robust 30mm aluminum frame and dual-glass construction withstand extreme snow loads (5,400 Pa) and wind pressure (2,400 Pa), certified to IEC 61215 standards, making it ideal for harsh environments including coastal and high-humidity regions.

With just 14 modules forming a 6.6kW system, this 48-cell solution perfectly matches medium-to-large household energy demands. Compared to conventional 440W panels, the 475W high-power output reduces balance-of-system costs by 15% through savings on racks, clamps, and installation labor. The lightweight design further streamlines deployment. Laboratory-verified degradation rates of just 1% in the first year and 0.4% annually thereafter, backed by industry-leading 25-year product and 30-year linear power warranties, ensure long-term investment security.

Addressing critical rooftop requirements, the module features a seamless all-black design (frame and junction box) for architectural integration. Enhanced low-light response maintains high generation during dawn, dusk, and overcast conditions – delivering 3-5% higher yield per watt versus PERC modules. Superior resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID) and light-elevated temperature induced degradation (LeTID) ensures consistent performance in coastal applications.

“The rooftop PV market demands solutions that balance high output with long-term reliability,” stated Michael Wang, General Manager of JinkoSolar Oceania. “Our new 48-cell Tiger Neo module resets the LCOE benchmark through TOPCon 3.0 technology, transforming distributed solar into a more robust investment.”
