Passage of the Future Made in Australia legislation through parliament in November 2024 is a milestone for the renewables sector and Australia’s economic prosperity.

Our strong advocacy work has been instrumental in the development of this plan.

Our work included collaborating with the Climate Capital Forum to host the Australian Renewables Industry Summit in September 2023, calling for an AUD $100 billion investment for an Australian Renewables Industry Package.

About Climate Capital Forum

The Climate Capital Forum was established to keep Australia in the game as we race to net zero, plotting Australian renewable energy investment on a strategic course to decarbonise our economy. Taking an empirical approach to Australia’s renewable energy investment environment, providing advice to departments and leaders – helping Australia to realise its potential as a renewable energy and critical minerals superpower.

A Renewable Energy Superpower

In December 2022, eighteen Australian industry leaders gathered at Ethinvest’s boardroom in Sydney – awed by the pace and scale with which the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was turbocharging innovation and investment in climate solutions.

There the Climate Capital Forum emerged, a champion for Australia’s strategic renewable energy investment frontier.
