Swatten Unveils Groundbreaking Energy Solutions at Smart Energy 2025 in Sydney

In 2024, Australia’s residential energy storage market experienced significant growth, with rooftop PV installations paired with storage increasing by 15% year-over-year. New South Wales and Victoria contributed nearly 50% of total installations. According to Modo Energy, Australia’s cumulative residential storage capacity is expected to surpass 15GWh by 2025, driven by state subsidies and policy incentives. Against this backdrop, Swatten, a subsidiary of Sieyuan Electric, will showcase its cutting-edge energy solutions at Smart Energy 2025 in Sydney from April 9-10 at booth 58. Swatten will introduce its new Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter (8/10kW) and highlight its flagship products—the All-in-One (5-20kW) System and Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter (10-50kW), designed to meet Australia’s growing energy needs.

Addressing Rising Electricity Prices & EV Growth
With New South Wales electricity prices up 8.9% and Australia targeting 50% EV penetration by 2030, demand for home energy storage and EV charging is growing rapidly. Swatten’s new Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter (8/10kW) offers high efficiency, strong storage capacity, and broad compatibility, making it ideal for high-load homes and small commercial PV systems. Key features include a 50V ultra-low startup voltage for early activation in low-light conditions, 200% DC input oversizing for greater PV capacity, and a 4-MPPT design for optimizing panels in different orientations. With 10kW charge/discharge power and 14.5kW rated output, it easily supports EV chargers, air conditioners, and other high-power appliances, reducing grid reliance.

To further support green home charging, Swatten has introduced its All-in-One Energy Storage System with integrated AC charging. This system intelligently adjusts charging power, maximizing self-consumption and reducing costs. Its compact, all-in-one design saves 20% installation space, while stackable, plug-and-play installation reduces setup time by 20%. Featuring an 11kW AC charger, it efficiently powers EVs with solar energy, cutting costs and accelerating Australia’s transition to clean energy.

Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter (10-50kW): Reliable Green Power Supply
With rising EV adoption and energy costs, standard 10-15kWh PV + battery systems struggle to balance household and EV charging needs. Swatten’s Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter (10-50kW) emerges as the ideal solution, not only supporting EV charging but also providing a more efficient and reliable energy storage solution for households. Key features of the Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter include a maximum 16A photovoltaic input current and 20A short-circuit current, ensuring compatibility with most solar panels and high efficiency. The 3-string, 6-MPPT design supports 200% oversizing, improving energy efficiency and enabling high-power, multi-orientation installations for optimal performance. With a low starting voltage of 150V and a wide MPPT voltage range (150V-950V), the inverter ensures earlier startup and longer operation in challenging weather conditions. It also offers 50/60/65A charging current for fast battery charging and emergency power supply, supports whole-home backup, and integrates EV charging for a complete solar-storage-charging system, suitable for virtual power plant (VPP) scenarios. Offering exceptional scalability, it supports up to 30 units in parallel for a maximum output of 1.5MW and adaptable to 3MWh of battery capacity. This makes it ideal for high-load applications in factories, agricultural facilities, and commercial buildings. The system also supports 1.8MW of photovoltaic integration, enabling efficient “solar + storage” solutions.

Advanced Grid Integration for Maximum Value
Swatten’s solutions are VPP-ready, supporting Modbus protocol to integrate with various VPP platforms, maximizing the value of energy storage assets. This makes Swatten’s smart energy solutions ideal for both residential and commercial users seeking flexible power management and optimized energy utilization.
