Our smart energy industry is thriving, but for it to continue we must address one glaring GAP. The gap in gender participation in our workforce is untenable; inclusive employment is our only way forward.

That is why the Smart Energy Council is establishing a Gender Action Plan (GAP) across the smart energy industry in 2023 and 2024. We want you, and your company, to join us.

Our design for workplaces to take on a Men as Gender Leaders’ program, to better equip our largely male-dominated industry, with skills to champion safe and inclusive workplaces.
Strategies for designing a community of practice that will guide the development of content, co-design solutions and encourage the creation of a network that will support the GAP’s mission.
A discussion on building a public communications campaign to empower businesses to promote their leadership role in gender diversity and inclusion.
