As a niche EPC and Systems Integrator experienced across major brownfield and greenfield projects, Powertech has the unique capability to find solutions to the most complex of problems, optimising renewable energy solutions within existing infrastructure or designing and building new bespoke systems.

There are several critical steps specific to Renewable Projects that may be underestimated or not clearly understood by less experienced service providers, that can lead to significant delays at the end of projects and inability to operate as planned.

For example, R1 Validation and R2 Verification are critical steps and understanding the requirements of Network Service Providers (NSP’s) and Regulators (AEMO) in meeting those requirements is essential.

Powertech have significant experience in modelling R1 in PSSE/PSCAD and creating overlays and validation reports for R2 from actual measured site data, through to grid connection agreements etc.

The level of engineering experience required to achieve R1 Validation and R2 Verification should not be underestimated, neither should the complexities of meeting NSP and AEMO regulatory requirements. Our Professional Engineers have access to the latest advanced power system analysis and design

software such as PSS(E), PSCAD, DigSilent Power Factory, SKM, ETAP, PV Design, Homer and CDEGS.
